Practical and spiritual care, ceremonies and celebrations

“This book was written for all the incoming souls who are still to join us,
assisting Humanity in bringing Heaven onto Earth; and for all the parents
who are open to increasing their own awareness and consciousness.
Blessed Awakening within all of us!”

Do you know how to ignite your intuitive flame for powerful parenting? Would you like to have angels present at the birth of your baby? Do you wish to know how to make this grand entrance into the big, wide world a much more gentle, harmonious and loving experience?

This book takes you from conception to well after birth in a manner that teaches spiritual awakening through five ceremonies designed to assist you in understanding the power and purpose within you, your body, your baby, and the process of pregnancy and birth.

The book incorporates many positive tools including which archangels and goddesses to call upon to protect and support you whilst in labour; which crystals to use to soften the bombardment of new tactile experiences your baby is having; how to create a positive, supportive environment for your baby; understanding and honouring the development of your baby from a spiritual perspective.

Spirit in Pregnancy and Birth aims to empower mothers-to-be with more spiritually enriched information with regard to pregnancy, birth and babies’ needs so as to awaken and enliven the inner voice and wisdom that they have already been gifted with.

Her training is aimed at Complementary Health therapists and indeed, anyone requiring therapy or training to understand the Body, Mind, Emotions and Spirit. Lorraine is a registered private practitioner of Integrative Medicine and a Quantum Biofeedback practitioner. She is also a member of the SA Fellowship of Anti-aging and Integrative Medicine.

Courtney Ward

A brilliant didgeridoo player, Courtney uses this instrument as her voice for Mother Earth and a powerful tool to open up unseen worlds within. Courtney has been applying her musical gifts as a professional sound healer since 1998 in association with Vaughan Harris as a founding member of Sacred Sound. She has also worked with many other talented and renowned sound healers such as Chris Tokalon and international sound experts Nestor Kornblum and Michelle Averard from the Association of Harmonic Studies in Spain. Presently Courtney has been using her voice in chant and mantra to open an ancient dimension of sound and culture, reminding us of our interconnectedness to all of life and all times past, present and future. I highly recommend this book to anyone who may be embarking on the magnificent journey that is pregnancy and birth! It provided me such Divine and
spiritual insight into the pregnancy/birth experience that I battled to find in any other books. It also greatly assisted me in overcoming the
cultural fear toward birthing that has gripped the Western world, and reminded me of how grand and sacred the birthing experience is.rnrnIt contains
very powerful (yet practical) exercises, ceremonies and ideas that help prepare Mother and Father for the process of birth, as well as some beautiful
ceremonies to honour the sacred and divine being that is the result of that birth!rnrnMost importantly though, it very clearly contextualises
pregnancy and birth as the magnificently Divine and Spiritual experience that it is, and not just a biological process that we have become so fearful
of. I also loved the section on which Goddesses, Saints and Angels to call upon, as well as the sections on which crystals to use during pregnancy, as
well as which crystals to surround my baby with now that she is here.rnrnBoth my husband and I are extremely grateful for the unbelievable Love that
Collette clearly put into this book, as it helped us so much through the grandest experience of our lives. Our daughter is now 7 weeks old, and this
book has helped us honour her even more than we thought possible. This is the book that should be in every new parent's baby hamper!rnrnCandice, Cape
Town
